Dear Readers:
Spring has sprung in Chicago, and it’s
only going to get warmer. As the temperature rises, so do
the number of activities. So for those who are new to the
neighborhood, just visiting or just haven’t been out
in a while, welcome to this one-of-a-kind Chicago activity
planner and magazine, Chicago Night & Day! With more
than two dozen pages of information on activities, events
and places to visit, this publication provides all of the
information you will need to see and do anything in the Second
City.
In addition to a comprehensive activity planner,
Chicago Night & Day has articles to inform and entertain.
Jenny Brandhorst’s article on riding the CTA manages
to do both. Although I don’t personally need instruction
on riding the CTA, as I have been riding it for years, I found,
her tips useful and humorously honest. I’m betting you
will too. For those who wish to limit their CTA experiences
to the morning and afternoon commutes, this issue also offers
articles on everything from food to sports to arts and entertainment.
Living in or visiting the city, all must make
dining out a part of their Windy City experience. Michael Welsh’s
story provides insight on one of the hottest restaurant trends
in the city—New American cuisine, a delectable combination
of traditional ingredients and fine dining flair. But we still
want you to look your best on the beach, so be sure to take
a look at Sarah Myer’s article on some of the best ways
to get active in the city.
Even if it’s raining, and you can’t
get active outdoors, Chicago Night & Day will help you
find ways to have fun and stay dry, whether at indoor sports
facilities, museums or any one of the thousands of activities
this city offers.
With Chicago Night and Day you can easily plan
all of your summer activities - so enjoy Chicago - night and
day! |
